Fitness Classes are a great way to keep fit and have fun at the same time.  Perfect for those who are not keen on conventional training or not comfortable training on their own. With many different style of class to choose from, you can find the best class to suite your needs.


At The Castra Gym we aim to tailor our classes to the requirements of our members. We can arrange for convenient times and also offer private classes. Our professional Instructors are proficient in all genre of fitness class including: Aerobics, ABT (Abdominals - Butt's - Thighs), Aero-Box, Circuit Training, Power Yoga, Stretching & Flexibility, Pilates and personalized classes. Fitness Classes enable you to chose the most relevant type of training for your needs, be it toning, fitness improvement or weight loss. ABT

Abdominals, Buttocks & Thighs is a low impact activity that targets specific areas that can improve a person’s figure and general fitness.  ABT does require a good level of strength but is generally suitable for people of all fitness levels. It is predominantly aimed for women and is a great addition to a regular fitness regime.


Pilates

Pilates is a physical and mental method of training that promotes core strength and general wellbeing. It is a low impact activity, ideal for beginners or advanced levels.


Fit-Ball

Similar to Pilates except a Swiss Ball is uses in conjunction with the exercises. Fit-Ball promotes core strength, improves posture, range of motion, stability, coordination and balance.


Step Aerobics

Step-Aerobics is a variation of the regular Aerobic workout. This is a high intensity activity, great for improving fitness and burning fat. Using a step also helps put an emphasis on the lower body and behinds.


Spin Class

Spinning (or Indoor cycling) is a very high intensity work out that requires a good level of fitness. Each stationary bike is self adjusted by the rider so a person can go to their individual maximum effort level.


Yoga

A great low impact activity to improve physical and mental well being. Advanced positions can take a long time to master however Yoga is still a great activity for beginners.


Pump & Burn

An explosive cardio and strengthening exercise, great for both men and women with interchangeable fixed barbells to increase or decrease the intensity.
