The Standard Chartered Bangkok Marathon will be held on November 23, 2008.
For runners who want to join this race we prepared in cooperation with Go Thailand Tours Co., Ltd. accommodation in hotels close to the race site and race registration are separately available for runners.

Race Details:
Course:
Along the streets of the capital, passing a large selection of historical sites and impressive landmarks. The Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the National Museum and the Chao Phraya River are in the vicinity. See Course Map (Race Course is officially sanctioned by AIMS and The Amateur Athletic Association of Thailand)

Quarter Marathon (10.540 k)
Walk-Run (5 k)
Start Time:
Marathon - will have 2 different official start times:
At 02:00 a.m. applies to:
- Male runners at 70-79 years and 80 years & older
- Female runners at 60-64 years and 65 yers & older
- Runners who estimate to finish the race in 5-7 hours
At 03:30 a.m. applies to:
- Elite runners
- Runners who estimate to finish the race faster than 5 hours
10 Km Run - start at 06:30 a.m.

The temperature on the race day is expected at around 20 - 28 celsius
Expo / Last Minute Registration: will take place at:
- Foreground (Giant Swing) front of Bangkok City Hall, Din Sor Road
- 20-22 November 2008 / 10:00 a.m. - 07:00 p.m. everyday
