2.    Membership Fees 2012

Since opening the gym over 4 years ago, our membership fees have remained the same. As with every other business in Thailand, general operating costs are now a lot higher than previous years. In order for us to maintain and improve the gym facilities, membership fees are being increased as of June 2012. Those members who wish to extend before June are welcome to do so (+ 1 year limit).

New membership fees come into effect as of 1st June 2012

3.    Photo ID (Membership Cards)

Due to the high amount of individuals abusing the membership system we will be introducing a digital photo ID membership system.  A passport size photo will be required with all new memberships (taken at the reception). This is a one-time requirement and takes less than 1 minute to complete.

5.    New Facilities

Due to popular demand for the Boxing area, we are planning on separating the fitness room in order to allow for multiple use of equipment at the same time. This will also allow us to improve the Spinning sessions with lighting and sound systems.

  • Dedicated Spinning (Indoor Cycling) room
  • Separate Boxing Training room
  • Full size Aerobic Studio

6.    Fitness Classes (Pricing & Extra Classes)

We have had the pleasure of having some great gym members participating in our classes, they have provided us with lots of feedback and we look forward to offering even more classes in 2012. We will be employing additional instructors to hold extra classes and will also be purchasing more equipment (Spinning Bikes, Steps, Swiss-Balls, Fixed-Barbells, Body-Pump) so that we can increase the class size. If you are interested in our classes, please take a moment to tell us about your preferences with our Fit-Class questionnaire.

7.    Gym Rules

Please respect our business. The full list gym rules are on display around the gym and can be found on the membership receipt form that all members sign upon joining (Terms & Conditions).

As of the 1st of June 2012 any person breaking the gym rules will be banned (this is ample time to buy shoes, learn how to improve on personal hygiene or save up for water).

Drinks from outside: This is clearly marked on the entrance, please take note. Our gym is not a 7/11 so please do not treat it like one. Water and other drinks are available from only B 10 at the counter bar.

  • Footwear: Do not ware open toe shoes (eg. Flip-flops). We are not responsible for a person’s carelessness.

  • Personal Hygiene: If a person has excessive body odour or has an overpowering smell they will be removed from the gym or must agree to take a shower and be re-checked for foul odours.

  • Replacing Equipment: Please replace the equipment after use. Laziness is not an excuse!

  • Dropping weights: Simple, if you cannot handle it, don’t try and lift it. Dropping the weights stacks can break the weights and cause injuries. The user will be responsible for any damages.

  • Stealing - Theft: Any person found to be stealing any item from the gym will be banned and/or reported to the Police in order to recover the costs (this includes any person stealing towels, soap and tissue paper).

PLEASE DO NOT JOIN OR RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP IF YOU CANNOT COMPLY WITH THE RULES

8.    Nuisance Visitors & Members

  • People acting in an unsafely
  • Aggressive behaviour or bullying
  • People who cannot use the toilet in an hygienic manner or self defecate
  • Leaving equipment covered in sweat (sprays and wipes are available and can be found around the gym)
  • Males using the Female WC or changing rooms (no go area even if unoccupied, no exceptions)
  • Uncleanliness, foul body odour or poor personal hygiene
